PLOT
Joon-sang (Bae Yong-joon), the son of a well-known musician, moves to Chuncheon, a rural South Korean city, at the start of the narrative. Joon-sang is recognized by both his professors and his peers for his exceptional talent, but he continues to be a reserved, shy teenager. Joon-sang thinks no one really loves him because he believes his biological father is deceased and has had significant arguments with his mother. Yoo-jin (Choi Ji-woo), a classmate of Joon- sang's, dozes off on his shoulder one day while riding the bus to school. The two develop a deep bond within a short period of time. Joon-sang persuades Yoo-jin to leave school with him one day. While traveling, Yoo-jin lets Joon-sang inside her tender heart and they fall in love. When Joon-sang pays Yoo-jin a visit one fateful day, he finds a picture in their photo album. However, their relationship is ended when Joon-sang suffers severe injuries in a vehicle accident and develops amnesia as a result of his brain injury, rendering him unable to recall anything that happened before the accident.
